| Meet
Captain Russell and the Big Game
|
Captain Russell is a third generation Sinclair to
make his living from the sea. Russell grew up fishing and
boating out of Cape Canaveral. After obtaining his USCG Captains
license at the age of 19, he has mated and captained on the
“Adventurous” and “The Ticket”. He
has fished in Mexico, Outer Banks of North Carolina, Bahamas,
and now fishes for nothing but “Big Game”. Whether
you are a novice or serious angler, you’ll enjoy his
seamanship, creativity of fishing, and his friendly style.

|
“Big Game”, a 53 ft. Spencer-Johnson,
is a Carolina custom charter boat ideally designed for sport
fishing. Out of Port Canaveral, Florida she offers year round
Gulf Stream and bottom fishing. From about late April to September
we venture to the “otherside” targeting yellow
fin tuna, blue marlin and dolphin. The Big Game is powered
by a pair of 800hp Caterpillar diesels that cruise to the
fishing grounds at 30kt. Combine that with three fighting
chairs, state of the art electronics, an experienced crew,
makes for an enjoyable and successful experience.

|
Jerry Connell is first mate on the "BigGame".
He holds a USCG captains license. Jerry's grew up in a fishing
family. His dad is a captain in the Keys and has been one
in Daytona. Before joining our team he was the quarterback
at New Smyrna Beach High, Naval Academy and UCF. He blends
that fun competitive spirit with his fishing expertise for
a great outing on the "BigGame". |
Full Day |
| We fish up to 40 miles of the inlet. This includes
the Gulf Stream. The boat leaves the dock at 6am and returns
at @ 3:30pm or when we limit out. Captain
Russ can customize your trip to troll the Gulf Stream for
Dolphin, Wahoo, and billfish or target Canaveral’s
great bottom fishing for Amber Jack, Snapper and Grouper.
Because our boat is fast and the crew versatile, why not
do both?! Nothing But Big Game!

| OTHER-SIDE TRIP
|
| We run at @ 30 knots to the other-side of the Gulf
Stream and fish up to 100 miles offshore. We shove off at
6am and return @ 6pm or sooner if we have our limit of yellow
fin tuna. The “otherside”
is the less pressured side of the Gulf Stream. The fish
come from the north side of the Bahamas and are following
the bait with the north current. We use color radar to find
the tuna birds feeding on the bait that the tuna have boiled
up. In addition to tuna, we find hungry Dolphin, aggressive
Wahoo, and get multiple shots at Blue Marlin each season.
